2 Chronicles 27

^{1 !} Jotham reigneth, and ouercometh the Ammonites.

^{2 a} To wit, to offer incense against the worde of God, which thing is spoken to the commendacion of Jotham.

^{2 b} They were not cleane purged from idolatrie.

^{3 c} Which was six score cubites hie, & was for the height called Ophel: it was at the East gate and mencion is made of it, {cap. 3,4}

^{6 d} He sheweth that all prosparitie cometh of God, who neuer faileth, when we put our trust in him.

^{8 !} His reigne & death.

^{9 !} Ahaz his sonne reigneth in his stead.
